Last night saw the announcement of this year’s Chip Shop Award winners, with the annual ceremony, aided, as always, by the aroma of fried potato in the air at Edinburgh’s Tigerlilly club.

Former National Galleries of Scotland marketing manager, Ross Perth, picked up his third Grand Prix prize of the year for his ‘Cans’ display promoting the Warhol exhibition at the venue last Summer. ‘Cans’ also picked up a Chip in the Best Ambient Media category while the Chairman’s Award went to Neil Masheder and Steve Barwise from Lake for ‘Jim the Window Cleaner’.

The judges for this year’s awards, chaired by Michael Wolff of Michael Wolff & Company, included Dean Webb from The Red Brick Road, Paul Cilia La Corte of Lewis Moberly, John Jessup from Leo Burnett, Garry Blackburn from Rose and Nick Finney at NB Studio.
