Family tunes up for SCO

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra has announced its 2008/09 Season of concerts with a series of programmes and venue banners designed by Family.

The A5 brochures showcase the intricacy and fluidity of the playing through a series of kaleidescope images created using photographs of the musicians and instruments.

Internal pages use iconic images and typography to create a mood and atmosphere surrounding the key perfomamces.

Ann Monfries, marketing director of the SCO said of the design: "We're delighted with the rich, kaleidescopic images which Family has created for our 2008/09 Season print – the team at Family brought a huge amount of creativy and energy to this project and we believe the result excellently conveys the quality and drama of enjoying a live SCO concert performance."

Michael Fraser, head of design at Family said: "Working with the SCO allows us to be very creative and the results speak for themselves in this season's literature. Family has also created communications for the SCO's headline concerts and the successful Cl@six series."
