Adventi Group announces new CEO
John McAleenan is to step down as chief executive of the Adventi Group, one of Scotland's leading technology solutions and services providers.
He will be replaced by Eddie Chance as CEO, who joins from Oracle Corporation, where he was laterally country leader for Scotland as well as area vice president of technology sales for Scotland and the north of England.
Adventi Group comprises Scotsys and Integral Arm. The group's main markets are in the public sector and in SME. Scotsys is a Microsoft Gold Partner and is Apple's largest educational partner in Europe.
McAleenan was managing director of Scotsys for the last three years under Adventi and was also MD prior to its take over by the group in 2005.
