Douglas named as Premier sales director
Local newspaper group, Premier Publishing has appointed Hilary Douglas as sales director.
Douglas will start at the company on 6 June.
Premier Publishing currently publishes six local newspapers and is gearing up to launch two new weekly titles in September. Hilary will be responsible for the current field sales team of seven executives, key accounts and agency business.
Hilary has a solid track record in Scottish media, with stints at the Daily Record & Sunday Mail, News International, Business a.m. and latterly as sales director at Talk107.
Commenting on the appointment, Campbell Murdoch, group chief executive said, “I am delighted that we have been able to attract someone of Hilary’s quality to lead the development of our sales function. I have worked with her twice before and I am looking forward to the drive and professionalism that she will bring to the team.
