ASH England launches ‘Wee’ tobacco adverts
Wee Creative has produced a campaign for ASH England to highlight the effects of the tobacco industry on Africa.
An African Footprint has been created from smoking tobacco to highlight the destructive implications tobacco growing has on the country’s farming communities and its deadly effects.
The campaign comes as British American Tobacco celebrated 100 years of trade in Africa at its AGM in London.
Frank Connolly, creative director for Glasgow-based Wee Creative, said: “The Footprint captures the ravaging effects tobacco is having in Africa today.
“It is live and happening across the continent causing death to 1000’s of Africans, real poverty in the farming communities and child labour.”
