Reports are suggesting that Holland & Barrett has moved its £7m advertising account out of Guerilla and into WCRS.

The Drum revealed in February that the account was up for pitch, less than a year after the business was last put up for review. London agency WCRS is now understood to have come through a client pitch involving M&C Saatchi and Manchester-based CheethamBell JWT to land the business.

Last year the health food retailer caused confusion after putting the account out to pitch and appearing to appoint Propaganda, before eventually reneging on the decision.

A marketing spokesperson for Holland & Barrett said there was no appointment to announce. Guerilla MD, James Allan declined to comment.

The business has been held by Guerilla for eight years, regardless of the understanding that Holland & Barrett doesn’t use a retained agency. Guerilla launched Holland & Barrett’s most recent advertising work last winter.
