A newly formed Wolverhampton-based financial company has appointed Open Glasgow to its integrated marketing account, the first major client win by the agency since the agency formed last year.

LoanBusters, will focus initially on the issue of Payment Protection Insurance misselling, which it is estimated applies to over 52million loans taken out by UK consumers in the last decade.

Open Glasgow is already engaged in designing the corporate identity, literature and website in addition to developing a lead-generation campaign comprising direct mail, press and TV advertising. Advertising activity is likely to start in Scotland before a UK rolllout.

The Media Shop Glasgow has been tasked with the Media planning and buying for the company’s marketing.

LoanBusters works with a national team of solicitors, using an established legal process to enable victims of the financial mis-selling to pursue a claim through the courts at no financial risk to themselves, on a no-win, no-fee basis.
