A £3million campaign for TV shopping channel Bid TV, created by Midlands-based agency Rees Bradley Hepburn, breaks today.

The campaign includes radio advertising and four 30-second TV spots, directed by Jonny Campbell, whose credits include Shameless and Phoenix Nights.

The TV adverts play on the concept of post-match interviews with sports stars and feature satisfied customers delighted with scooping a bargain. Its strapline: "Proof every buyer wins with Bid TV".

The radio campaign features a voiceover from journalist and broadcaster Stuart Hall, made famous on seventies' TV show It's a Knockout.

A breakfast show promotion on Midlands-based Heart FM will break on 21 April.

Steve Hart, head of marketing and PR at Bid TV owners sit-up channels, said: "The ad aims to encourage those unfamiliar with the channel to give it a try and get in on the action."

Media planning and buying was handled by Mediaedge:cia.
