Propaganda has appointed Lu Dixon, formerly executive creative director at EHS Brann London, as the agency’s new creative director.

Dixon is understood to have courted the attention of other agencies in Yorkshire and Manchester, before choosing to join Propaganda. Explaining her decision, she said: “I was attracted by Propaganda’s approach; their single-minded focus on delivering real results for their clients.”

Executive creative director, Steve Dixon, described Dixon as a “straight-talking individual,” and said her desire to make a difference with clients would see her fit in well with Propaganda’s style.

In a separate development, the agency has been tasked by vehicle tracking and mobile technology solutions provider, Masternaut Three X.

Propaganda’s Brand Discovery team will conduct in depth research with Masternaut Three X’s key stakeholders before developing a brand proposition that clearly differentiates the company within what is an increasingly competitive market. In addition, Propaganda will also drive brand awareness using a strategic and creative marketing programme.

Mike Phillipson, managing director of Propaganda, said: “Masternaut Three X is already a market leader in its field and realises the importance of investing in its brand to consolidate this position and unlock new growth opportunities. Our planning team and business strategy consultants will embed themselves into Masternaut Three X’s business to develop a proposition that facilitates this.”
