At the time of going to press, no one at Rapier’s London headquarters was available to discuss the Bristol closure.

Further investigation has revealed that at least one agency has been launched out of the ashes of the closure. Saman Mansourpour, who was hired at the time of the Rapier West’s inception, has launched The Agency, a full-service direct response business based in Bristol. He told The Drum that six of his former Rapier West colleagues were joining the new venture and more details would be revealed in the coming weeks.
