Former Nestlé marketer, Thryth Jarvis has been appointed by Leeds-based Thompson to take on the newly created position of marketing director.

At Nestlé, Jarvis was responsible for the KitKat brand, but has been hired by Thompson partners Ian Thompson and Phil Dean to provide marketing consultancy for clients and help drive the agency forward as it continues with its 2008 plan to transform from a traditional design agency to a strategic brand communications business.

Prior to her work with Nestlé, Jarvis has managed a variety of leading brands across different sectors within the FMCG and OTC Healthcare arena. She has worked at the likes of Sainsbury’s, Wyeth, Heinz, and Arla Foods, while her brand experience includes ChapStick, Anadin, Weight Watchers from Heinz, Cravendale, and KitKat.
