Funding has been secured to help cement Bristol’s reputation as a hub for creative businesses. The £100,000 investment will support two projects, ‘Light up Bristol’ and ‘Media Sandbox.’

The scheme is directed by Bristol+, a partnership of industry creative and technology professionals with a view to promoting the region’s strengths and stature in creative sectors.

In December, ‘Light Up Bristol’ will showcase Bristol’s leading digital and creative agencies with landmark buildings being used as a canvas for animation and moving images.

The ‘Media Sandbox’ will focus on enabling businesses in the region to explore the new possibilities in digital media. The projects form part of broader business funding by the South West RDA and is administered by Bristol’s Watershed.
