The Drum has learned that ID Recruitment is set to close its doors.

Linda Park, managing director of the Edinburgh-based recruitment company has said that she will close the company in order to have her second child next year.

The staff at the recruitment company have already found new employment, and Park has admitted that she may well restart the company in the future after taking some time out. Park is planning on retaining the name ID Recruitment.

“I am expecting another baby, and as I already have one child, I feel that now is the right time to wind ID Recruitment down and spend more time with my family,” said Park.

Meanwhile, Hudson denied that it is to begin its own agency recruitment arm.

Mike Dickson, director of Hudson Scotland said: “We would only consider going into agency recruitment if we could find the right level of person to lead us in into that space with a clear goal to take on Denholm's market position. Anything less would dilute our offering and put our brand and market position at risk.”
