Creative agency Love has been appointed to develop a national advertising, viral and digital campaign for Nando’s branded retail range, following a three-way pitch.

Nando is looking to expand on its successful reputation as a restaurant chain and encourage the use of their branded sauces, dips and marinades in the home, and is reportedly putting a significant six-figure sum behind the campaign, due to launch next year.

Account director at Love, Frank Carolan, said: “There is huge potential to take the unique Nando’s experience into home usage. Nando’s has bags of personality and isn’t afraid to experiment and challenge conventions, so working with this brand is going to be great fun.”

Love is the first creative agency appointed by The Grocery Company, who market and sell the range, to work on Nando’s retail products.
