Denvir takes Lieberthal from BD-Network

Denvir Marketing has unveiled the appointment of Kirsty Lieberthal, to complete the final line-up of its senior management team.

The move concludes Denvir’s strategically led expansion plans, which began in April this year with the appointment of Paul Docherty, previously creative director at 999 and joint managing director of Summer Street.

Headhunted from BD-Network, Lieberthal held the position of group account director, working with clients that included Coca-Cola, ScottishPower, VisitScotland, The Edrington Group, Dr Oetker, McCain Foods and William Grant & Sons.

She will assume the title of brands director, overseeing the strategic direction of the marketing, research and PR functions while working alongside managing director Suzanne George to develop new business opportunities.

The move follows the recent appointment of Denvir’s first non-executive director, John Anderson, currently CEO of The Entrepreneurial Exchange.

Suzanne George commented: “The appointments of Kirsty and Paul both strengthen Denvir’s senior management team and are a significant step for the future development of the company.

George continued: “Our early growth was managed organically to ensure we built strong foundations upon which to now escalate our ambitious company growth plans.”

Kirsty Lieberthal added: “I have watched with great interest the growth, creative output and results delivered by the team at Denvir and I am very excited by the opportunity presented, and look forward to joining the team.”

Denvir was established in 2003. and has increased its staffing levels by 65 percent from 17 to 28 in the past year.
