A new research and communications agency has been launched in Scotland by former head of communications at the Scottish Labour Party.

Red Circle Communications, an independent agency based in Edinburgh offering research and communications advice to the public, private and voluntary sector, has been established by Steven Lawther who was, most recently, the head of communications for the Scottish Labour Party.

Lawther has spent the last six years providing polling and communication advice to the Labour Party.

He worked closely with the Scottish First Minister and the UK Cabinet in election campaigns so knows all about research at the sharp end. He also spent time at a leading US polling agency during the 2004 Presidential elections in the USA.
