Hookson has bolstered its team with two new appointments, following the hiring of Naomi Askins from Family and Scott MacMichael from 1576.

Askins joins the agency as client services director, while MacMichael has arrived from 1576, where he was art director.

The appointments come as Hookson wins new work from Spanish-based, global stone and slate firm Cupa Pizarras and baking giants, Abbey.

Hookson will work with Cupa in Scotland and Ireland on relaunch campaigns and brand awareness, chiefly targeting architects, while the agency will create a raft of business-to-business communications for the bank, aimed at UK-wide IFAs.

Meanwhile, a new organisation, whose role will be to lead the charge against discrimination, has been given the green light by the Scottish Executive.

Hookson has created the new branding for Football For All (FFA), which is to campaign across Scotland to raise awareness and tackle the issues of sectarianism, bigotry, racism, sexism and violence that plague the game of football.
