Creative Lynx has announced the appointment of a highly respected and acclaimed figure in the Manchester design community, as its new creative director.

Trevor Johnson, who has worked in the design industry for over 25 years, is to take on the role of creative director at the agency leading its young design team.

Johnson is arguably best known for his work at Factory Records with Peter Saville on some of Manchester’s best known brands and organisations, which have helped grow the city to become the centre of creative excellence it is now.

Johnson commented on his new role: “It’s great to finally join with Creative Lynx, I’ve always admired the team as an agency that puts its client’s needs first and their commitment to investing in people was a major factor in my decision to join them.”

Stuart Wilson, managing director of Creative Lynx, said: “Having collaborated with Trevor on many projects over the years, it’s a huge boost to everyone at Creative Lynx to secure such an outstanding talent to head up our creative team. The whole studio is very excited to be working alongside such a luminary and Trevor’s appointment is something that can only be good four our long term development as an agency.”

Wilson continued: “Creative Lynx has grown considerably in the UK and we’re proud to say that this growth is based solely around our commitment to delivering strong creative concepts and first class client service. These are exciting times for everyone at Creative Lynx, clients and colleagues alike, and we look forward to making Trevor a central part of that.”
