Gary Dawson and Del Sneddon have left BD-Ntwk Scotland to launch their own Stirling based creative services agency, Pocket Rocket Creative.

Sneddon was creative director at KLP Euro RSCG before moving on to work at BD-Ntwk, picking up experience of running campaigns for brands such as Guinness, Coca-Cola, Smirnoff and VisitScotland in his career. He was also responsible for the creation of the T in the Park identity, and was behind the new graphic identity for The Famous Grouse, which launched last year.

Dawson spent nine years at BD-Ntwk as production director and latterly as creative services director, having previously worked for Principles in Leeds.

The pair left BD-Ntwk at the end of May in order to set up on their own.

Sneddon said of the launch of Pocket Rocket; “We have built on our experience to really focus on what’s important to clients and we’re now even more passionate about what we do. We have a vision for a lean, responsive agency that produces hard working, effective creative. Clients are increasingly strategic – they know what they need their work to do. We see our role as being able to interpret their brief and bring their vision to life creatively without costs associated with agency strategic input.”

Also joining the team is Gary Doherty as senior designer.

Doherty, who was also a senior member of the creative team at BD-Ntwk, has a background and expertise in 3D design.

Dawson explained, “We aim to ensure that our clients really feel that they are part of the creative process and not confronted with some of the administrative barriers and unnecessary overhead costs-whether that means client workshops with marker pens and pads for NPD / invention, 3D prototyping, packaging, retailer activity or concepts for a creative platform.”
