New packaging for Chilly Billy

Leeds-based, Ripe Design has designed the packaging for Benson’s Apple Juice’s new Chilly Billy iced pops to give the product greater standout from competitors.

The product is to be initially sold through independent retailers, delicatessens and National Trust attractions, with the company hoping to sell through regional wholesalers in the future.

Sam Rainey, creative services director at Ripe, said: “We wanted the packaging to be clean, fresh and encompass the traditional family values Bensons hold, whilst also standing out from the wide range of products found in typical retail chest freezers.

“We also wanted to ensure that it is clear to consumers that the product contains basically fruit and nothing else, providing a unique healthy option for people looking for a refreshing ice lolly.”
