Feathers lands £7m Ultimate Fighting launch

Feather Brooksbank has been appointed to plan and buy the £7m advertising campaign to launch the Ultimate Fighting Championship organisation in the UK and promote its forthcoming event in Manchester.

UFC is a premier brand of mixed martial arts that has seen huge success in its native North America and – its owner hopes – is set to grow rapidly in the UK.

Brand advertising, which has already begun, showcases the tactical nature of the UFC, the personalities of its fighters and its status as a mainstream sport.

The UFC account will be handled through Feather Brooksbank’s Edinburgh office and run by head of communications planning, Gary Wise.
