Gratterpalm to unveil Focus DIY spring idents

Leeds-based Gratterpalm has created a spring TV ident campaign for Focus DIY.

The 10-second ads, which will run between now and Christmas sponsoring a strand of Style Homes on UKTV Style, feature several characters in the shape of inanimate objects and animals commenting about DIY-related issues. The characters are a combination of computer-generated imagery and animatronics.

Gordon Bethell, managing director at Gratterpalm, said: “Spring is a key time of year for Focus, and these idents are being launched as a standalone brand campaign the week before its media push, which will also include a separate Focus TV campaign and national and local press activity.”
