Code has been appointed by furnishing manufacturer Plumbs to redevelop its ‘Plumbs Cover’ website.

The digital agency has been tasked with revitalising the Plumbs online presence to make it appeal to a younger audience.

Chris Plumb, online marketing manager for Plumbs, said of the appointment; \"We chose Code primarily based on the fact that they proved they were able to provide a strategic business approach to our website portfolio. Plumbs were also impressed that Code fully addressed key issues such as SEO and usability.\"

Plumbs is a family-run business based in Preston with an annual turnover of £30million. The site’s relaunch is expected in October.

Meanwhile, Code is working on a new website for Hovis, after being appointed last month as part of a £20 million relaunch for the bread manufacturer.

The website will use the new positioning of the brand; ‘Hovis is for Life’.
