Transform Medical Group has appointed Manchester-based Pravda to handle its seven-figure advertising account, Adline can reveal. The decision consolidates the advertising agency’s relationship with the group, having previously held the account for the non-surgical side of the business, named Rejuvenate.

Following a review, however, which did not involve a pitch, Pravda will now handle activity for both the Transform and Rejuvenate brands. At the time of going to press, neither Pravda nor Transform were willing to comment on the exact budget for the activity, but were able to reveal that the account would be worth \"several million pounds annually.\"

Transform has over 30 years experience in cosmetic surgery and has clinics and hospitals situated throughout the UK.

Pravda’s Tim Trapp commented on the win, stating: \"We’re delighted to be working with Britain’s biggest cosmetic surgery group. It’s well documented that their marketplace is growing rapidly to meet demand but it’s increasingly cluttered and requires clear brand differentiation.\"

Pravda’s initial work for Rejuvenate, which focused on botox, skin peels and other non-intrusive cosmetic procedures, broke last month in both national and regional press.

The agency’s first task for the Transform brand will be to develop and create a campaign for later this year, which is expected to roll out across national glossies.

Commenting on the appointment of the Manchester-based agency, Transform’s marketing director, Liz Dale, said: \"We’ve been impressed by Pravda’s wealth of ideas. The launch work for Rejuvenate has been extremely well received and we’re pleased to find an agency of their calibre outside London.\"
