Big Communications and Fuse Digital have launched a new campaign to promote The Cube – a multi-million pound development, created by distinguished architect Ken Shuttleworth, which is currently being built in Birmingham.

The Cube is part of The Mailbox, an existing client of the two Leicester-based agencies, and will feature high-end shops, apartments, restaurants, as well as a hotel and spa. The campaign activity, which is heavily focused upon the www.thecubeiscoming.com website, is also centred around ambient media such as lift doors and projected images.

The agencies have also made use of new technologies that fit in with the strategy behind the campaign. Through bluetooth-enable mobile phones, people can download movies about The Cube direct to their phone.

The campaign is now live and later this year activity will shift toward selling apartments within the complex. The proposed completion date for the building is 2008.
