BOB will lead Miller brand throughout uk

Miller Brands has named Edinburgh-based BOB Marketing as the lead below the line agency for Miller Genuine Draft in the UK.

BOB has handled Miller projects for the last eight years and has been appointed lead agency as part of a £30m investment by Miller parent company SABMiller to promote its brands in the UK.

BOB is to deliver its first promotion as the lead below the line agency this month. The brand is targeting consumers through Genuine Draft stockists in a pre-Christmas instant-win promotion, as well as teaming up with Glasgow Radio station Beat 106 to offer six luxury trips to New York. The campaign is called MGD VIP.

BOB CEO Ward Mulvey said: “This is an exciting time to launch MGD VIP and we’re thrilled to be working with a company that breaks the mould of conventional marketing. We look forward to building Miller Genuine Draft and are excited about the prospects for 2006.”
