An integrated direct marketing campaign is to be used to launch Alliance & Leicester Commercial Banks’ new business centre network, it has been announced. The campaign, which will target medium sized UK companies, will focus on the bank’s experience, value and service.

Existing customers will be targeted initially, before the campaign is rolled out on a wider scale to generate new business. Direct mail, promotional literature and later press advertising will be core to the push.

Commenting on the activity, Tim Bartlett, senior marketing communications manager at the firm, said: \"The launch of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank’s business centres represents a strategic shift in focus for medium-sized businesses.

\"The centres, staffed by highly experienced business banking managers, will be dedicated to organisations turning over between £1m and £10m as well as those with sophisticated borrowing or depositing requirements. They will offer streamlined, bespoke solutions.\"

The campaign has been created by incumbent agency, TDA.
