SAGA 105.2FM, Glasgow’s newest radio station, has stuck with its promise to use Scottish marketing agencies with the appointment of the Guy Robertson Partnership to its advertising account.

The agency was chosen following a pitch and will now be put to work creating a launch campaign for the station, which is due to go on air this autumn. The announcement follows the appointment last month of PR consultancy The Big Partnership.

Norman Quirk, managing director of SAGA 105.2FM, said: “The Guy Robertson Partnership has a sound understanding of how the Scottish media operates and this was a necessity in finding the right agency for us.”

The win comes as GRP is said to be preparing to move premises. The agency has been in its current offices for four years, and is planning a second move following recent expansion.
