Chocho Liebniz and Sika take a big decision

Luxury biscuits on the menu at Big.

German biscuit manufacturer Bahlsen has chosen Big Communications to handle its six-figure, through-the-line account. Bahlsen produces a wide range of luxury biscuits, including indulgent butter biscuits and wafers with continental chocolates, and is behind such brands as Choco Liebniz, Messino and First Class.

Big secured the win following a four-way pitch against undisclosed agencies and is expected to begin the campaign with advertising in women’s press titles. Jo Dance, marketing manager at Bahlsen, said: “We were keen for Big to pitch for the work and they showed an excellent understanding of our brand and our values.”

Big has also been appointed by Sika to launch its revolutionary adhesive product, SikaBond to the trade. Press ads and point of sale are expected to be the main focus of the launch, which aims to push SikaBond as the first elastic product of its kind.
