Bray Leino remains confident of maintaining its hold on the Wrigley’s account, following The Wrigley Company’s appointment of a new marketing manager.

Ian Bray has joined, following in the footsteps of Gharry Eccles who recently became managing director with the firm.

The South West agency has spearheaded a significant growth in business for Wrigley and has helped to build brands such as Wrigley’s Extra.

Shirley Copfey, account director at Bray Leino, told Adline that she doesn’t expect things to change: “I don’t think the appointment will effect our role, we are still working on the brands and have heard good things about Ian and we are looking forward to having a positive and effective relationship with Wrigley.”

Bray has worked with the likes of KP Foods, SmithKline Beecham and AAH Pharmaceuticals, plus a stint at MÃœller Dairy as Head of Marketing.

Commenting on his new role, Bray said, “I am delighted to be joining Wrigley at this exciting time. The company has an excellent reputation in new and existing brand development and I look forward to working with Gharry and everyone at Wrigley in further growing and developing the Wrigley brands.”
