Scottish Enterprise has launched a new online training programme aimed at helping graduates improve their employability.

The new programme, named eSoftskills, provides graduates with help in key ‘soft skills’ such as communication, teamwork and time management, after they were identified in a recent research survey as being as important as technical competence or academic record.

“eSoftskills is our first e-learning package that is aimed at the needs of graduates,” said Charles Watt, senior director of E-Business at Scottish Enterprise. “By making the resources available online, we are offering a flexible way for graduates in learning, training or employment to gain skills vital for today’s job market – at no cost to them.”
