US motor giant Ford has handed a Cambridge design and communications agency the opportunity to shine after appointing it to handle a transatlantic piece of business.

Flag has been appointed to design and produce a global Corporate Citizenship report for Ford and also to expand its web-based reporting.

The business was won on the back of Flag’s CSR portfolio, which already includes work for Agilent Technologies, Jaguar, Rio Tinto and Amerada Hess.

The agency is aiming to open a new chapter with the report, which will be based around Ford’s adopted Business Principles. The new report will be launched at Ford’s 100th birthday celebrations in Dearborn, Michigan.

Rob Cameron, chairman of Flag, said: “The report will communicate with Ford’s wide-ranging stakeholder groups on its impacts and on the challenges and goals ahead. We are delighted to be working with Ford, especially in its centennial year.”
