The fight for utility supply customers has been stepped up by ScottishPower as it launches a multi-million pound advertising campaign to remind customers of the savings that can be made by using the company for both electricity and gas supply.

The campaign has been devised by Glasgow-based ad agency The Bridge during the last 12 months and the TV ads, as well as online and direct marketing, will target millions of homes across the north of England and throughout Scotland.

The Big Partnership has also been appointed to handle PR for ScottishPower.

The next phase of the campaign will roll out next month as ScottishPower aims to tell customers that they can choose to have no standing charge.
