Mexico has the highest level of violence against women in the world. Every 24 hours, 81 crimes are committed against women, and only six in every 100 crimes are reported to authorities.

Tracking Systems de Mexico realized that using existing technology in cars could make the necessary noise to help prevent crimes on the street. 'StreetGuard' works with sensors installed in car doors that are connected as a network. When the sensor is activated with a StreetGuard button, it generates a radio frequency wave that triggers the alarms of cars within 25 meters. The device does not affect the car’s computer or safety, because it is an independent system.

A video explains how it can keep women safer.
