Girls Who Code: Why can't girls code? by McCann New York
- Location:
To prove that girls in fact do code, non-profit Girls Who Code has created a series of satirical videos that point to the ridiculous reasons as to why girls "can't code." With reasons like "they have boobs" and "they menstruate," the videos shine light on some of the unconscious biases that people have towards women who work in STEM fields. Created in partnership with McCann New York, the videos are meant to spark a conversation about stereotypes and help create a "more inclusive, well-rounded image of a programmer.”
