Clean water NGO World VIsion has partnered with KBS Toronto to create a campaign that highlights the benefits of well water and how it can help people around the world. In a one-minute spot, the benefits of bottled 'Well Water' are touted while athletes, scientists and runners are shown drinking the beverage to get through their days. About halfway through, viewers realize that the ad is actually mimicking typical bottled water commercials once the ad cuts to an African village and a voiceover states, 'Well Water is not a product, but it can make 663 milliion people stronger, more productive, smarter and live longer." The campaign is designed to drive people to World Vision's website to help the organization raise money to build wells and bring clean, running water to African villages.
