Money advice and personal finance company NerdWallet has introduced a new campaign with a character, Frank, to drive home the importance of budgeting to save for the things consumers want most.

Frank is a guy who takes ill-fated money-saving advice from friends and family and goes to extremes to save, often to his own detriment. The point of the campaign is for people to use NerdWallet to make smarter money choices with confidence, because everyone, including Frank, deserves the “real deal” rather than the thrifty alternative.

The three-part social video campaign will run on social channels, including NerdWallet’s Facebook page. It was developed with social and digital agency Epic Signal.
