Account Manager

Location: Glasgow

The Drum UK sales team is looking for a results-driven, highly ambitious and motivated Account Manager to joint it's Digital Suppliers commercial team based at our Head Offices in Glasgow.

Overview

The key goal of an Account Manager is to attract and retain new customers, whilst working towards improving the frequency and value of spend from existing clients to consistently achieve individual targets and KPI’s.

Specific Responsibilities

  • To sell the benefits of your products relevant to your customer group to achieve your individual KPI’s and revenue targets via canvassing new, existing and lapsed business.
  • To work as part of the sales team and contribute ideas and feedback in order to help achieve your teams set KPI’s and revenue targets
  • To take responsibility for attaining product/client knowledge across The Drum’s portfolio
  • To be confident and enthusiastic when on the phone or in meetings. Demonstrating expertise in questioning effectively and matching the benefits of The Drum's products to your customer’s business needs.
  • To work with your direct line manager to plan how you will achieve your set targets, identifying marketing campaigns required to help you plan for success.
  • Be continually aware of the progress towards all sales and activity levels via accurate verbal and written communication to be discussed with the Head of Sales and/or Commercial Director at your 1-2-1 meetings, ensuring you have a plan of action for any shortfalls.
  • To research and be aware of competitor activity, industry trends and news and identify commercial opportunities from these.
  • To ensure the correct use of Salesforce and adhere to all activity KPI’s set by the Head of Sales/Commercial Director.
  • To achieve weekly KPI’s as agreed with your direct line manager. These will be monitored through activity levels on Salesforce and will be subject to change to reflect and surpass team average.
  • To attend corporate events as required and to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Travel

  • There may be travel across the UK and out with the UK required within this role
