Ross Mawdsley started his design career in a Liverpool advertising agency after dropping out of a product design degree.
An early pioneer of flash, he jumped ship to digital in 1996 and designed the multi-award winning Simian flash websites.
After appearing in the 'New Masters of Flash' annual in 2001, he moved to New York to work as an art director for clients such as Armani, Johnnie Walker, North Face and MTV, whilst there he won a webby for his work on the Guggenheim website.
He returned to the UK to take a position as group creative director at Code ComputerLove and then creative director for Amaze where he worked on the Lexus account for four years, culminating in the multi-award winning redesign of the Lexus European website.
In June 2014 Ross started his latest position as a creative director for AKQA in London, and he is also a judge for the FWA.
