After beginning his career as a fast-track graduate with British Airways, Nick Hynes helped pilot loss-making loyalty points brand Air Miles to a $62m profit within four years.

He then pioneered paid search advertising, building European operations for Overture in just 30 months before it was acquired by Yahoo for $1.63bn.

In 2009 he founded Somo, with Carl Uminski. The agency was recently ranked 19th in The Sunday Times Tech Track.
