Images&Co
Malcolm Garrett is the creative director of ImagesandCo.
He has a global reputation for his influence on graphic design and popular culture – both through landmark designs for clients including Buzzcocks, Duran Duran, and Simple Minds, and his pioneering role in championing interactive design since the early 90s.
He established AMX, one of the first digital agencies in Shoreditch in 1994, and in 2000 became the first ‘new media’ designer appointed as royal designer, where he is currently master of the faculty.
Garret is an official ambassador for Manchester School of Art. He is a member of the Science Museum Advisory Board, the Sir Misha Black Awards Committee, the APDIG Advisory Board, and the Design Council Design Industries Round Table.
As well as being a founding member of the 5D World Builders at USC in California, he also co-founded Design Manchester in 2013 and hosts its festival each year.
