Professor Lawrence Zeegen is dean of the School of Design at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London where he leads undergraduate, postgraduate and research in communication design, design management, spatial design and interaction design.

He is vice-president of the International Council for Communication Design Associations (ICO-D) and is a trustee of D&AD.

Additionally he is a trustee of the De Le Warr Pavilion, an education advisor to the Design Council’s Sounding Board and a member of the Exhibition Committee at the House of Illustration.

As a design writer, Zeegen has contributed to numerous publications and is author of six works on contemporary illustration. Since October 2014 he has published two books: ‘Fifty Years of Illustration’ and ‘Ladybird by Design’.
