Social Life

Laura-May Coope co-founded Social Life, alongside Radio 1’s digital innovation producer Alistair Parrington. The agency works with clients such as The X Factor, Sony Music, Converse and MTV bringing together brands and broadcasters with young audiences online. 2015 has seen the agency introduce a paid internship scheme for students.

She previously led social media at BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra for four years, taking the station’s social channels from infancy to millions of fans across the globe.

As well as lecturing at universities including Westminster and Portsmouth, Coope is also a regular speaker at international events including the RSI Swiss Festival, Social Media Week London and Radio Academy London.
