According to Jon Block, his colleagues at ITV sometimes refer to him as the “acceptable face of geek”. With a science degree from Cambridge and the RTS Young Technologist of the Year Award, he now leads ITV’s commercial innovation programme in a challenging and varied role. On some days he is devising new forms of interactive, dual-screen or live advertising, while on other days, he can be found hosting innovation events with clients and speaking publicly about the exciting opportunities where TV and online converge.
