From childhood, Jeff Coghlan was fascinated with computers and subsequently qualified as a systems analyst.

As founder and director of Matmi, he released an online game, 'Monster Poolside Sumo', to promote Matmi's first website. The game subsequently went global, leading Coghlan to realise the effectiveness of engaging consumers through discreetly branded online games.

Since 2001, Matmi has worked with brands including United Airlines, EMI Music (Gorillaz, Iron Maiden), Philips, J Nicholls (Vimto), ASDA, ITV and Parlophone (Lily Allen).
