These gory Hitman video game toilet stall ads look to have backfired on social media
An experiential toilet-based ad campaign for upcoming video game Hitman has caused a stir online.
In an ode to the game franchise in which players find themselves in the shoes of the shadowy assassin 47, Studio Square Enix has ran a bloody toilet stunt to generate publicity before the impending launch of its latest episodic iteration.
The stunt makes reference to the fact players often store the bodies of their victims in vacant toilet stalls.
Twitter user @graceblaise, a social media manager for game franchise Total War shared the footage, shared image of the campaign, which showed blood emanating from women’s toilets in London.

Afterwards, her tweet received thousands of RT’s.
1000+ RTs on my Hitman blood tweet. I'd like to thank Hitman, I'd like to thank PC Gamer but most of all I'd like to thank the girls toilets
