Sky Comedy celebrates Groundhog Day with tongue-in-cheek Radio Times listing

To mark Groundhog Day, Sky Comedy is airing the 1993 film of the same name 13 times in a row.

The 24-hour marathon will see the Bill Murray blockbuster as the only film shown on the channel today, subjecting viewers to the story of one testy weatherman's repetitive nightmare over and over (and over) again.

A quick glance at today's Radio Times movie listings shows that the broadcaster wasted no opportunities in promoting the stunt, awarding the film a consistent five star rating across the board.

Sky Movies' social media team has also been working to promote the midwinter high jinx by restricting tweets on the channel's Twitter account to the same post which is repeated each time the movie starts again.

Quoting the first line of the film, the tweet reads: "Okay campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties cos it's cold out there today..."

The Radio Times said today's schedule provides "something for absolutely everybody."
