Cameron Diaz, Courtney Cox, Elton John, Victoria Beckham and more have lent their support to M&C Saatchi London creative team Matt Roach and David Lawrie…or so it seems.

Using their 'uncreative names' to their advantage, Roach and Lawrie have trawled YouTube or various clips of A-list superstars discussing their experiences with other people called Matt or Dave, such as Matt Damon, David Beckham, and Doctor Who stars David Tennant and Matt Smith.

Of the video, Roach and Lawrie said: "We've been endorsed on LinkedIn before by people who have never actually worked with us. The whole 'endorsement' thing has lost its value. So we thought we'd get recommendations from celebrities people actually care about. We've never worked with them either."

Edited by their colleague Callum Loftus, the film concludes with one genuine testimonial from England cricket captain Freddie Flintoff, in which he dead pans, "Matt and Dave, you are the best creative team in the world".
