‘Marketing’ and’ programmatic’ were some of the most hashtagged words during Ad Tech London, but were pipped to the post by the Ad Tech hashtag and #GuessMySketch, Vertical Leap’s game at stand 452.

Throughout the two day event, which saw names such as Sir Martin Sorrell and vice president of global marketing Marc Mathieu speak, 3,500 tweets were sent from 2,500 accounts.

The research from SocialBro found that 2,600 of the tweets (73.1 per cent) used the official #adtech_london hashtag, while 526 plumped for simply using #adtech instead.

Of the tweets sent, 374 used the word ‘stand’ while 286 referenced ‘tech’.

Overall, 79 per cent of the tweets were neutral, with 19 per cent being positive and only two per cent showing negativity.

The majority of tweets (321) were sent at midday on Tuesday October 21, when IPGMediabrands Eric Weaver, We Are Social's Tom Ollerton and Barclay's Nigel Sheldon discussed what would happen in social during 2015.
