Thursday saw more professionals take part in the ice bucket challenge with Mike Phillipson, chief executive of Cogent Elliott, and 40 Top Shop employees based at the UK's flagship store, taking the chilly plunge.

Phillipson, who tipped the bucket at Cogent Elliott's headquarters in the West Midlands, nominated Chris Robshaw, the England rugby team captain and chief executives Dylan Bogg, from Big Communications and Dean Lovett, from McCann Birmingham.

Next, 40 unlucky Top Shop employees, nominated by ASOS, filled the London streets with shrill shrieks. The clothing retailer also donated £10,000 to the ALS charity.

This comes after Manning Gottlieb OMD's Virgin Holidays team and digital agency Jam took on the challenge on Wednesday.
